埃尼奥·莫里康内（Ennio Morricone）是位意大利人，1928年出生于罗马，他是可以和John Williams、James Horner、John Barry...等并驾齐驱的电影配乐大师，现在虽然他已经75岁高龄了，却仍然拥有丰富的创作灵感，埃尼奥内迄今参与制作的各国电影已经有四五百部之多，这真是一个惊人的数字，他也是意大利最多产、最有建树的作曲家，是世界上最具知名度的欧洲电影音乐家，而他的影响力却是世界性的。他涉猎的创作类型涵盖面甚广，从古典、爵士到电子、摇滚都在他的音乐作品中有所体现。代表作包括金币三部曲、往事三部曲、天堂电影院、海上钢琴师、教会……等等。
